SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP

AGES 5-12 | 4-DAY & 5-DAY OPTIONS | WEEKLY SESSIONS BEGINNING JUNE 2

Join us this summer for Summer Adventure Camp at the YMCA! Day Camp is an exciting and enriching experience for children, offering a mix of fun activities, physical exercise, and valuable life skills. Campers engage in outdoor adventures, swimming, arts and crafts, team-building games, sports, and a safe inclusive environment. Kids are encouraged to develop confidence, social skills, and independence, while making lasting friendships. Day Camp is a great opportunity to explore nature, participate in themed challenges, and enjoy field trips and unique weekly themes.

SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS

AGES 6-12 | WEEKLY SESSIONS BEGINNING JUNE 9 - JULY 31

Get ready for an action-packed week of excitement at YMCA Summer Sports Camps! Our camps last one week and run from 9:00am-12:00pm; perfect for kids who want to stay active, build skills, and have a blast all summer long! Each camp offers a chance to explore a variety of sports, including:

• Climbing our 44-foot wall
• Soccer
• Volleyball
• Basketball
• Football
• Track & Field - We'll be using our BRAND NEW track & field space!
• Sports Sampler - Perfect for discovering which sport your child might enjoy in our seasonal leagues!

Whether your child is a budding athlete or just looking to have fun, they’ll learn the fundamentals of each sport while improving teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Plus, they’ll make new friends and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Get ready to make a splash this summer at the YMCA of Pueblo! From toddlers to adults, everyone can benefit from swim lessons at the Y — and we're expanding our schedule to offer even more opportunities all summer long! Whether your child is just getting started or you're looking to sharpen your own skills, our certified instructors create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for swimmers of all ages. We offer group lessons for kids ages 6 months to 12 years, as well as private and semi-private sessions tailored to individual needs. Dive into confidence, safety, and a love for the water. Start your swim journey and make this summer your best one yet!

PARENTS NIGHT OUT

AGES 3-12 | MUST BE POTTY TRAINED

Parents Night Out is held monthly at the YMCA from 4:00pm-9:00pm and it's your chance to enjoy your own time! Go out to dinner, enjoy a movie, take an evening hike or just enjoy some quiet time at home. Drop your kids off, go enjoy your evening while your kids play here, then pick them up. We'll feed them and make sure that they have fun swimming, playing games, and making crafts!

Teen Night

Tuesday, July 8 | 6:00pm-8:00pm

Hey Teens, we have the perfect hangout spot for you this summer! Our brand new Bruno DeRose Field is waiting for you on Tuesday, July 8 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Bring your friends, play games, listen to music, eat snacks, and make new friends! Members hang for free and nonmembers can join the fun for $10.

Pack your tend and sleeping bags and join us for an unforgettable night under the stars! Enjoy dinner, a family-friendly movie, s'mores, bounce house fun, and quality time together. All right here on the YMCA's new Bruno DeRose Field.

Gather your squad and sign up for our Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League! Open to ages 16+, this league is all about fun, friends, and friendly competition whether you're a seasoned setter or just here for the good vibes. 

Season: July 31- September 4

Game Nights: Thursdays between 5pm-9pm (Tuesdays may be added if we have a lot of teams!)

Teams: Up to 12 players- you can add teammates until game day #3!

Family Nerf Wars

OPEN TO ALL AGES | 5:30pm-7:00pm

Family Nerf Wars will be held the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month through August 15 (Does not include July 4). Get ready for an action-packed family showdown! Join us for Family Nerf Wars, where parents and kids team up in a friendly battle of foam dart fun. Bring your favorite Nerf blasters and we will provide the darts! This exciting event is perfect for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're dodging darts or defending your base, it's a night full of laughter, strategy, and unforgettable memories.

BABYSITTING 101

AGES 8-17

Learn the basics of caring for children! Get the skills and confidence you need to become a responsible, capable babysitter! This engaging and hands-on course is designed for teens and pre-teens who want to learn how to care for children safely and effectively. Participants will cover essential topics such as child safety, pediatric CPR/FA/AED, and babysitting basics.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMP

ALL AGES WELCOME

Young leaders can dive into our Youth Leadership Camp, where the next generation of leaders are born! Through engaging activities, teamwork, and mentorship, participants will develop essential life skills like communication, problem-solving, and goal-setting that will serve them for years to come. CPR/FA/AED CLASSES

Adult Only Courses

Learn Adult Child, and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED skills at the YMCA. This class will have both hands-on and lecture components. Lecture components will be done online prior to attending the class. You must pass an in-person skills test. At the end of this class, you will receive a two-year certification from the Red Cross.

Family Courses

The parents will receive a FA/CPR certification, the children will learn basics during the class. We feel it is important for all members of a family to know what to do in case of an emergency. We will go over those basics. Parents will be asked to provide an email for each parent to receive the online training and then the class time will be to test your skills.

Neuro Pong

Mondays 1:00pm-3:00pm

Besides being played for fun or competition, table tennis can be of great support to people experiencing cognitive decline and neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and ADHD.

• Achieve improvement in motor function and  disability status in people with Multiple Sclerosis.
• Achieve improvement in both motor and non-motor symptoms in people with Parkinson’s Disease.
• Avoid further mental decline, without the use of medications, in people with Mild Cognitive Impairment

Neuropong is completely FREE and requires no equipment! Just wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move around in. We kindly ask that you check-in with our YMCA Membership Team at the front desk before participating.
