Hello! I’m Ashley, the Director of Culture & Curriculum at the YMCA. I have more than a decade of experience in child care and youth development, along with two years as a STEM teacher, and I’m passionate about creating programs that help young people learn, grow, and thrive.
In my role, I oversee Child Development programs, Youth & Government, curriculum development, staff culture, teen programing and youth engagement initiatives. Whether I’m designing enriching learning experiences, supporting staff growth, planning special events, or helping shape future leaders through Youth & Government, my goal is always to create meaningful opportunities that make a lasting impact.
I’ve been part of the YMCA family for four years, and it’s a place that truly feels like home. What makes this work so special is the incredible team I get to work alongside every day—people who feel more like family than coworkers and who share the same commitment to serving our community.
You’ll probably recognize me around the Y as the very tall staff member who loves Disney, palm trees, and finding new ways to make kids smile. I believe learning should be engaging, relationships matter, and every child deserves the chance to discover their strengths and potential. I’m excited to continue building programs, supporting families, and helping create unforgettable experiences for the youth we serve!
