Book Club
In partnership with:

Book Club is a great way to expand your horizons, improve your reading skills, promote learning, and enjoy stimulating conversation while building lasting relationships. Thank you to the Pueblo City-County Library District for partnering with our YMCA to provide the following selection:
January's pick: "Winter Counts" by David Heska Wanbli Weiden. Virgil Wounded Horse is the local enforcer on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. When justice is denied by the American legal system or the tribal council, Virgil is hired to deliver his own punishments. When heroin makes its way to the reservation his vigilantism becomes personal. This crime fiction is a look at a long ignored part of American life. The Native American author is a lawyer and professor, and lives in Denver, CO.
Please note: It is the responsibility of individual book club participants to check out books from the library under their own account if they so choose. You can view the YMCA library branch's hours here.
