Book Club
In partnership with:

Book Club is a great way to expand your horizons, improve your reading skills, promote learning, and enjoy stimulating conversation while building lasting relationships. Thank you to the Pueblo City-County Library District for partnering with our YMCA to provide the following selection:
April's pick: "Not The Killing Kind" by Maria Kelson. This thriller is about the lengths mothers will go to protect their children. Boot Marez is a Latina single mother raising a headstrong and sly eighteen-year-old boy she adopted six years ago. She also runs a school that helps the undocumented people in her politically divided town in Northern California. When her son, Jaral, is jailed for murder of one of her former students, her life is turned upside down.
Please note: It is the responsibility of individual book club participants to check out books from the library under their own account if they so choose. You can view the YMCA library branch's hours here.
Discussion date: Thursday, May 1st from 9:00am - 10:00am in the YMCA Community Rooms
