Walk With Ease

Join us this fall for Walk With Ease, a nationally recognized walking program designed to help reduce arthritis pain and improve overall health. Kicking off in September, participants will walk together at various scenic locations around Pueblo including the beautiful new Dr. Bruno DeRose Track & Field at the Y, the Riverwalk, and more!

While the program is especially beneficial for those with arthritis, you don’t need to have arthritis to join! Whether you're managing joint pain or simply looking to stay active and healthy, this program is for you.

Music & Movement for Tots

AGES 2-5 | FRIDAYS @ 10:00AM

Get ready to sing, dance, and play! Our Music & Movement class for tots is a joyful, high-energy experience designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Through songs, rhythmic activities, simple instruments, and creative movement, little ones will explore sound, develop motor skills, and build early social connections in a fun and nurturing environment.

Each class encourages self-expression, listening, and coordination, all while sparking a lifelong love for music. Whether it's clapping to the beat, twirling with scarves, or shaking maracas, your child will be smiling, learning, and moving from start to finish!

Parents Night Out

AGES 3-12 | SEPTEMBER 13 | 4PM-9PM

Parents! Enjoy a well-deserved night off while your young explorers embark on an evening at the YMCA of Pueblo. This cosmic adventure is filled with exciting games, interactive activities, swimming, and climbing that will help them reach new heights. Each child will enjoy a freshly prepared dinner to keep their energy high as they journey through our galaxy of fun. Parents Night Out is held monthly and the next session will be held September 13, 4pm-9pm. Spots are limited!

Homeschool Recreation

AGES 6 - HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR | SEPTEMBER 23 - NOVEMBER 20

Looking for a well-rounded way to support your homeschooler’s physical and social development? The YMCA’s Homeschool Recreation Program offers a fun, engaging environment where kids can learn, move, and grow their mind, body, and spirit!

Designed for ages 6 through High School Senior, this program includes a wide variety of activities to spark curiosity and build healthy habits:

• Physical Education to develop coordination, fitness, and teamwork
• Art to inspire creativity
• Science for hands-on discovery and exploration
• Swimming to build water safety and confidence
• Group Exercise to promote healthy lifestyles

• Rock Climbing for confidence, problem-solving, and fun

Babysitting 101

Saturday, October 11 | AGES 8-17

Whether you're just getting started or want to sharpen your skills, Babysitting 101 is the perfect way to boost your knowledge and earn parent trust. This course equips participants with the essential skills to become confident, responsible, and safe babysitters.

The program includes official CPR and first aid training through the American Red Cross, giving young caregivers the tools they need to handle emergencies with care and calm. Participants will also learn about child safety, age-appropriate activities, basic caregiving techniques, and how to build a babysitting business.

Get ready to paint, play, and pumpkin-party with us on Saturday, October 25! Bring the whole family for a festive afternoon of pumpkin painting fun. Your registration includes one pumpkin per family plus all the brushes, paints, and sparkly supplies you’ll need to bring your pumpkin to life.

CPR/FA/AED Classes

Adult Only Courses

Learn Adult Child, and Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED skills at the YMCA. This class will have both hands-on and lecture components. Lecture components will be done online prior to attending the class. You must pass an in-person skills test. At the end of this class, you will receive a two-year certification from the Red Cross. MORE COURSES TBA

Family Courses

The parents will receive a FA/CPR certification, the children will learn basics during the class. We feel it is important for all members of a family to know what to do in case of an emergency. We will go over those basics. Parents will be asked to provide an email for each parent to receive the online training and then the class time will be to test your skills. MORE COURSES TBA

Spooky Sprint 5k
