From youth sports like soccer, volleyball, and flag football to Father Daughter Dance, Music & Movement, and special events like Healthy Kids Day, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Parents Night Out

Saturday, February 14 | 4:00pm-9:00pm

Enjoy a night to yourselves while we take care of the kids! Youth ages 3–12 will enjoy dinner, swimming, arts & crafts, games, and other fun YMCA activities in a safe, supervised environment. Whether you’re planning a Valentine’s date night or just need a few hours to recharge, Parents’ Night Out at the Y has you covered.

Family Nerf Wars

Lock and Load— it’s Family Nerf Wars time! Bring your favorite Nerf blasters and get ready for an action-packed evening of foam-flying fun. We'll supply the darts while families dive into fast paced battles of strategy, teamwork, and friendly competition. From 5:30pm-7:00pm, the Y transforms into the ultimate Nerf arena. Are you ready for the showdown?

Babysitting 101

Babysitting 101

Babysitting 101 give youth the skills—and confidence—to care for others. Designed for ages 8-17, this 4-hour class covers babysitting basics, emergency response, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification. Participants gain hands-on experience while learning responsibility, leadership, and safety skills parents can feel good about. Only 10 spots available per session.

Walk with Ease

OPEN TO ALL AGES | APRIL 6 - MAY 15, 2026

Our Walk with Ease program is a nationally recognized Arthritis Foundation walking program designed to help reduce arthritis pain and improve overall health. Participants will walk together at various scenic locations around Pueblo, including: the Y's brand new Dr. Bruno DeRose Field, the Pueblo Riverwalk, and more!

While the program is especially beneficial for those with arthritis, you don't need to have arthritis to join! Whether you're managing joint pain or simply looking to stay active and healthy, this program is for you.

Homeschool Recreational Program

Our YMCA Homeschool Program is all about learning through play, movement, and exploration! Designed for ages 5-18, this fun and flexible program brings together swimming, PE games, STEM challenges, and brain builders activities that keep kids engaged and excited to learn. Each session is a little different, with new games, hands-on projects, and creative experiences mixed in throughout the semester. It's a welcoming space where homeschool students can stay active, make friends, and build confidence!

Cost

Price covers TWO participants. Additional students are $10 each.

Music and Movement for Tots

Ages 2-5 | Fridays @ 10am

Our Music & Movement class for tots is a joyful, lively experience designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Through songs, rhythmic activities, simple instruments, and creative movement, little ones will discover sound, develop motor skills, and make early social connections in a supportive environment.

Each class nurtures self-expression, listening, and coordination while inspiring a lifelong love for music. From clapping to the beat and twirling with scarves to shaking maracas, your child will leave each session engaged, growing, and grinning ear to ear! Spots are limited!

Year-Round Swim Lessons

OPEN TO ALL AGES STARTING AT 6 MONTHS

Just because the summer sun is setting doesn’t mean water safety takes a break! At the YMCA, swim lessons are offered year-round because learning to be safe and confident in the water is always in season.

Our fall swim lessons are open to all ages and abilities starting as early as 6 months old and are designed to teach essential water safety skills, build confidence, and encourage lifelong healthy habits.

We offer a variety of lesson formats to fit your needs, including group lessons, private lessons, and semi-private lessons. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your strokes, fall is the perfect time to dive in. Stay safe, stay active, and keep swimming with the Y!

No school? No problem! When school takes a break, the Y steps in with Bonus Days a fun-filled, interactive, and educational experience for kids. Perfect for holidays, teacher workdays, or any day school is out, Bonus Days keep your child engaged in a safe and supportive environment.

We partner with local school districts to provide quality, affordable care that gives parents peace of mind and kids a day packed with activities, learning, and fun. From games and crafts to physical activity and new friendships, every Bonus Day is a day well spent at the Y!

AGES 3-6

The Preschool Plus Program at the YMCA offers a nurturing and engaging environment for children ages 3 to 6. Run by licensed professionals, this program provides both all-day care (5+ hours) and part-time options, making it easy to find a schedule that works for your family. Preschool Plus is the perfect complement to our traditional Preschool Program! Families can choose to enroll in one or both for a more comprehensive early learning experience.

Through age-appropriate activities, social play, and structured learning, kids build confidence, independence, and school readiness skills in a fun, supportive setting. All children must be potty trained to participate. Give your preschooler the tools to thrive with Preschool Plus at the Y!

No school on Fridays? We’ve got the perfect solution! Fridays at the Y offers a full day of fun, learning, and exploration for kids ages 5–12. From 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, your child can spend their Friday engaged in exciting activities like games, crafts, active play, and hands-on learning all in a safe, supportive environment led by caring staff.

Climb to new heights with YMCA youth climbing lessons for ages 6-12! This exciting sport helps kids build strength, confidence, and valuable life skills like teamwork and perseverance, all while having a blast. Climbing isn't just about reaching the top of our 44ft climbing wall. It's about learning, growing, and building a strong foundation for success! Besides being played for fun or competition, table tennis can be of great support to people experiencing cognitive decline and neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and ADHD.

  • Achieve improvement in motor function and  disability status in people with Multiple Sclerosis.
  • Achieve improvement in both motor and non-motor symptoms in people with Parkinson’s Disease.
  • Avoid further mental decline, without the use of medications, in people with Mild Cognitive Impairment

Neuropong is completely FREE and requires no equipment! Just wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move around in. We kindly ask that you check-in with our YMCA Membership Team at the front desk before participating.
